I have that problem, I can't ever get a fix on mine now... Where
abouts are you (as in region)... ie. are you lost in the middle of
a jungle/desert or just a city?

all good now. asking for dirction to a human was faster and
accurate.
E71 didn't fail me, always getting a fix within seconds. E90's
gps was wonky for one day but worked fine on other days. Nokia maps
and guide was so-so, mainly still used google maps
Well after upgrading my N95 from V20 to V21 I have to wait for
3-5 minutes to get an GPS fix, But now comes the strange part, in
Google maps I get a fix in less than a minute. Can anybody explain
this to me?

reported some time ago by @ocifant which is the main reason for
not updating my phones firmware. You'd think Nokia would have
noticed that they had ballsed up one of the main selling points of
the phone by now, wouldn't you?

I did have a discussion about this couple of weeks ago, and I have
snet emails to Nokia support about it, but they havent answered me
so I think they're not caring really as the new N96 is on the
way.....

I have 2 bluetooth gps and forgot them both on this trip because i thought the N95 would be enough!
